ift Rosenheim is an internationally active, technical-scientific service provider and specialist as testing institute for the evaluation of the fitness for use of construction products. The spectrum of ift Rosenheim comprises among other things window tests according to EN 14351-1, facade tests according to EN 13830, fire tests according to EN 16034 as well as glass and building material tests. Evaluation of the Fitness for Use of Construction Products since 1966:
For more than 50 years, the testing institute Rosenheim is specialised on the holistic approach of building components and constructions. The institute supports with its testing expertise and experience the business sector windows, facades and doors regarding the standardization, research, approval and reports. For example, the function, the fitness for use and the quality of construction elements and building materials are explored with focus on windows, facades, doors and gates as well as roof and glazing systems. Furthermore, the research and test spectrum comprises all necessary building material and accessory materials like sealants, hardware and electric drive units. A broad customer structure, strict controls of external accreditation authorities and the own economic strength ensure the independence of the institute.
Wide-ranging Performance Profile of ift Rosenheim
As Europe-wide notified testing, surveillance and certification body, practical and integrated tests as well as certification are the priorities of ift Rosenheim. In addition, a graduated ift-quality mark has been developed that is based on clearly defined criteria and tests as well as regular surveillance.
