Certification – Installation of Windows – QM 352

Due to increased energy saving requirements for buildings, it is even more important that windows and external pedestrian doorsets, curtain walls and roller shutter boxes, are installed correctly. Professional planning and the selection of the appropriate building connection system are prerequisites for the professional execution of sealing and fixing.

Only trained specialists can install in accordance with the requirements for thermal insulation, weather resistance and structural dimensioning. Certification is based on the RAL Quality Association's guideline for installation.

ift-certified installation companies only install certified windows and external pedestrian doorsets as per the ift-certification scheme QM 320 at the level "ift-Quality" certified curtain walls according to ift Certification Scheme QM 329 in the "ift quality" level or quality-assured windows and external pedestrian doorsets and curtain walls as per RAL-GZ 695. In this context, roller shutter boxes are understood as additional attachments to the aforementioned components, provided that they are attached together in a building. This assures the end customer of the consistent quality of all components from the construction element through to installation.
