Sealing profiles are among the most important components on a door. Without the right seal, the functions and some performance characteristics according to EN 14351-1 are not given. The interaction between the seal and other components is also crucial.
In order to provide component manufacturers with a good basis for the use of high-quality seals, ift Rosenheim has launched the ift certification scheme QM 338. The testing and certification of sealants according to QM 338 also offer the building element manufacturer the basis for obtaining ift certification at the quality level or the RAL quality mark according to RAL-GZ 695.
Products certified and monitored according to this certification scheme meet the requirements of RAL-GZ 695 (Windows, Facades and Entrance Doors - Quality Assurance RAL-GZ 695).
