Access to the North American market is simplified for manufacturers
For manufacturers who wish to export their products to the US market, testing in accordance with the relevant American standards such as ASTM, AAMA and NAFS specifications is essential. These standards ensure that the products meet the high requirements of the North American market and form an important basis for approval there.
ift Rosenheim has long been listed with NAMI (National Accreditation & Management Institute) in the category "Insulating Glass Verification Program." This enables European manufacturers of insulating glass to test their products according to ASTM E 2190 (or ASTM E 2188/ASTM E 2189) in Europe and thus, for example, to fulfill a requirement for the window certification of the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) relevant to the US market - without long and costly transport routes for test specimens.
