ift Rosenheim extends cooperation with BSI in Great Britain

Reading time: 1 minutes

Brexit is making it more difficult for manufacturers from Europe to access the British market – on the other hand, it has also become more complicated for British manufacturers to distribute their products in Europe. For this reason, ift Rosenheim and BSI (British Standards Institution) have been cooperating since 2021 to make it easier for customers to access the respective markets.

So far, the cooperation has primarily made it easier for manufacturers of construction elements to label their products with "UKCA" or "CE", especially in areas not yet covered, such as glass or thermal insulation. Both companies have now decided to further expand and develop this cooperation in these joint areas.

Customers of BSI and ift will continue to have their usual contact persons at their side, even in global markets. In addition, this will reduce long, cost-intensive routes for test specimens as well as testing efforts.
