A test engineer measures a mullion-transom connector in the test rig for the bending test

Test – Stick Constructions and Infill Supports

The resistance to positive wind pressure, negative wind pressure and torsion from dead load of stick constructions on curtain wall profiles is tested in a bending test according to DIN EN 16758. In combination with this, the breaking load of supports for infill supports such as glass supports is determined according to DIN EN 17146.

Two test engineers carry out a test on a window test rig. One checks the test specimen, the second sits in front of the computer.

Test – Resistance to Wind Load of Windows + Doors

The resistance to wind load of windows and external doors must be tested according to product standard EN 14351-1 as per EN 12211. The results are given according to classification standard EN 12210.
