In Germany, burglary prevention has become increasingly important over recent years. Equipping a house with the right windows, doors, gates, or roller shutters gives end customers a feeling of security. But you don't always have to buy a new product. Often, retrofitting with the right components can be the solution.
In order to find the right product, the office of the Police Crime Prevention Commission (KPK) publishes manufacturer directories, e.g. for security furniture. This allows the end customer to target recommended companies during their search.
The prerequisite for inclusion in the KPK list is certification by an accredited body as per EN ISO/IEC 17065. ift Rosenheim has this accreditation and offers certification based on EN 1906 and DIN 18154. Labelling products with the ift-certified mark shows the end customer that they comply with the requirements of the KPK list.
