Hinges are one of the most important components on a door. Without the right hinge, the function and some performance characteristics according to EN 14351-1 are not guaranteed. The interaction between the hinge and other components is also crucial.
In order to provide building element manufacturers with a good basis for the use of high-quality hinges, ift Rosenheim has launched the ift-certification scheme QM 343. The testing and certification of hinges according to QM 343 also offer the building element manufacturer the basis for obtaining ift-certification at the quality level or the RAL quality mark according to RAL-GZ 695.
Products certified and monitored in accordance with this certification scheme meet the requirements of RAL-GZ 695 (Windows, Facades and Entrance Doors - Quality Assurance RAL-GZ 695) and RAL-GZ 716 (PVC Window Profile Systems - Quality Assurance RAL-GZ 716).
