Due to the standardisation backlog in Europe, interior doors are still regulated nationally. In some countries, a classification report according to EN 13501-2 is required as proof, which requires proof in accordance with product standard EN 16034.
It also sets out rules for factory production control, which is to be monitored once a year. Harmonization of the method for internal doors according to EN 14351-2 is still pending.
With ift certification, the manufacturer is supported regarding the factory production control to be carried out. The products are labeled with the ift-certified mark.
