Notified Product Certification Body Fire Safety

The notified product certification body fire safety in Nuremberg is approved and renowned all over Europe and internationally as a testing body for verifying the fire resistance of construction components and therefore partner for many manufacturer of building components. Another area of activity is conducting tests for the verification of the fire behaviour of building materials. The experienced specialists of the notified product certification body assist manufacturer, system provider and planner in the areas of mechanical durability, smoke and fire protection - always in close collaboration with the colleagues in Rosenheim.

The fire tests inter alia according to EN 16034 or for building materials are in the technology center in Rosenheim. A furnace with 5 x 5 m as well as with 8 x 5 m enables an increased test frequency. Subsequently, the test results are transmitted to the notified product certification body in Nuremberg and processed accordingly, inter alia to an European-conform evidence for CE marking. Clients profit from great time and cost savings due to the years of experience of the employees, the coordination with the colleagues in Rosenheim as well as the bilateral cooperations with international certification bodies.

Services of Notified Product Certification Body Fire Safety

Division: Notified product certification body in Nuremberg and technology center in Rosenheim

Testing and certification bodies have to be separated personally as well as structurally according to European standards. The Centre for Fire Testing in Nuremberg was separated after 15 successful years due to this specifactions as well as spatial reasons. Therefore, the handling of the tests are in the Technology Center in Rosenheim, whereas the Notified Pproduct Certification Body Fire Safety is in the “Ship” in the Main Donau Park in Nuremberg. The experts of ift provide manufacturer and system provider of fire barriers as well as smoke control door and shutter assemblies with customer-oriented and comprehensive services.
