Certification - Kits for Exterior Wall Cladding - EAD

The certification applies to kits for mechanically attached external wall claddings falling within the scope of the European Assessment Documentation 090062-01-0404. The documentation applies to kits for external wall claddings belonging to families A to H, as indicated in Table 1.1.1 in EAD 090062-01-0404, or a combination of these families. The kits consist of the following components specified in EAD 090062-01-0404 section 1.1.1 to 1.1.5:

• Cladding elements made of a full-surface material
• Cladding fasteners for mechanical fastening of cladding elements to the subframe or directly to the substrate
• Substructures
• Thermal insulation layers
• Other additional components

Cladding kits always contain cladding elements supplied by the manufacturer. The kits consist of non-loadbearing elements and do not contribute to the stability of the substrate on which they are installed.
