Notified Body “NB 07057” - CE mark for EUROPE
ift Rosenheim is Notified Body 0757 according to CPR
If characteristics according to European standards have to be determined for the CE marking of construction products, ift Rosenheim as Notified Body „NB 0757" is able to perform the requested
- Product tests in AVCP System 3 or
- Product certification with/without testing of samples in System 1/1+ or
- FPC in System 2+ as certification body
for the construction products of the building envelope.
The complete scope of the current ift-notification1) is provided opposite as download of the current DIBt-notice (German Institute for Building Technology) or on the Website of the European Commission.
Additional possibilities by ift as notified body
The „Authorisation of ift according to §46 of the CPR" (see Annex 1 Product standards with index 5) opens additional possibilities for the performance of CE tests by ift Rosenheim. The authorisation allows to carry out tests outside the ift-testing laboratory, e.g. on „external" test rigs in adequately equipped laboratories of the manufacturer or to execute under own surveillance. The preconditions have been specified in the ift-Cooperation Agreement.
Benefits of horizontal notification
The so-called horizontal notification that entitles ift Rosenheim to examine harmonised CE marking standards across a range of products. A prior application procedure at DIBt is not necessary. Therefore, reactions on the testing requirements by manufacturer can be formed flexibly and the duration of proceedings can be shortened. Even for products, accessories and building materials that are not directly allocated to the building envelope and which are contained in the list of product standards in Annex 1 of the ift notification, ift is able to offer through the horizontal notification the testing of essential characteristics (see Annex 2) for:
- Reaction to fire
- Resistance to fire
- External fire performance
- Sound insulation
1) The notification evidence of ift according to the EU Construction Products Directive (guideline 89/106/EEC) which was valid until 30 June 2013 is still available at Nando and in the opposite PDF file.

Background knowledge for EU-Construction Products Regulation
The EU-CPR (Construction Products Regulation) n° 305-2011 is a regulation for the determination of harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products. In July 2017, the outdated Construction Products Directive 89/196/EWG from 1988 was replaced by the new EU-CPR. Target of the regulation is, to eliminate trade barriers in the domestic market and to establish a common technical jargon which determines the harmonised conditions for placing the construction products on the market as well as clear rules for the CE marking.
