Scope according to DIN 1946-6:

This standard specifies the requirements for the design, execution and initial operation, operation and maintenance of the necessary ventilation units and/or units for devices for free ventilaton and for ventilator-supported ventilation systems considering building physics, ventilation, hygienic as well as energetic aspects.
