To the 37th ift Rosenheim Window and Facade conference, we expect in this year again over 900 guests from the in and foreign country, in order to discuss the most important trends and practice questions from technology, science, standardization and market.
We are often told that we should view crises as opportunities. Never has there been a better time to do this than in the current economic crisis, which coincides with strong worldwide demand for energy-efficient technologies. The EnEV [German Energy Saving Regulation] 2009, grant programmes from the German government worth 13 billion euros, and funding to the tune of 400 billion euros for photovoltaics in Africa all represent excellent worldwide opportunities for innovative technologies.
