The trade fair will take place from 24 – 27 March in Nuremberg Germany. Again, ift Rosenheim, GFF (Glass, Window and Façade Association, Baden-Württemberg) and NürnbergMesse will organise a special show, which will introduce the main trends in an objective and professional manner. Visitors, exhibitors and media will be informed of the wide range of possibilities offered by windows, facades and glass for improving energy efficiency, living comfort and safety/security to increase the quality and value of a property. Exhibits from leading international manufacturers will reveal how today’s components look, and what verifications and characteristics are needed in order to provide planners, investors and owners with reliable information. The special show at fensterbau/frontale will run under the motto “Winners show competence in all disciplines”. The experts from ift Rosenheim and GFF will provide professional, neutral, practical information about technical/design trends like thermal insulation, refurbishment of buildings, thermography, mechatronic and electronic building elements, verification methods and how to improve personal skills with training by experts. Furthermore visitors will learn more about how to deal efficient with CE marking, the implementation of the European Directive on the Energy Performance of Buildings or changing in the product standards. Practical examples from industrial partners will be used to show how planners and owners can determine product functionality and quality by reliable parameters. Moreover the show will give ideas to interpret the data’s of the CE sign and how to stop the misuse of the CE mark as a quality indicator.
