Over the last few years, burglar resistance has become very important in Germany. Equipping a house with the right windows, doors, gates or roller shutters makes the end customer feel secure.

In order to find reliable products here, homeowners should rely on certified building components. The Police Crime Prevention Commission (Kommission Polizeiliche Kriminalprävention - KPK) maintains manufacturer directories of tested and certified burglar resistant windows, doors and gates, among others. Thus, the end customer can target recommended companies already during his search.

The prerequisite for receptacle in the KPK list is certification by an accredited body according to EN ISO/IEC 17065. ift Rosenheim has this accreditation and offers certification based on EN 1627 and DIN/TS 18194.

Marking the products with the ift-certified mark confirms to the end customer that the products conform to the requirements of the KPK list.
